14. How to Engage

Corby Liberal Democrats want this plan to be a proposal that drives change for Corby. We invite residents, businesses, community groups, parish councils, and other political parties to engage with us on its detail — and to take from it whatever they can deliver.

• Through your Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners in Corby and on North Northamptonshire Council.
• Through Liberal Democrat representations to North Northamptonshire Council's emerging Local Plan.
• Through your neighbourhood or residents' association — every Corby resident has the right to attend the engagement events and submit views on the priorities for their neighbourhood.
• Through the proposed Joint Infrastructure Forum, where Weldon, Stanion, Little Stanion, and Rockingham residents can have their voices heard alongside Corby's.
• Through public meetings to be held in each neighbourhood and parish across the Greater Corby Growth Area during 2026 and 2027.
• Through the annual Infrastructure Watch meeting, where anyone can ask what has been delivered and what has not.

This plan will be revised, updated, and improved through dialogue. It is our offer to Corby for the long term: an infrastructure-first, fairer, greener, and more connected future, with Corby at the centre of decisions about Corby and every neighbourhood and village having a properly weighted voice in decisions that affect it.
