Our Investment in Council Services
Invest council money to improve council services
The North Northamptonshire Liberal Democrats will ensure council resources work harder for our communities by reviewing reserves to unlock investment in local priorities, from repairing potholes and unsafe pavements to strengthening planning and licensing enforcement. We will commit to full openness and transparency on council finances, so residents can see how every pound is spent, and review all council-owned properties to make sure they are used effectively and deliver value. Bulky waste collection services will be assessed to improve convenience and reduce fly-tipping, while targeted investment in neighbourhood wellbeing services will help create cleaner, safer, and more connected communities across the county.
