About Alex
Alex Lock is a committed Liberal Democrat and a vocal local advocate for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Armed with a Master’s in Policy, Alex combines a rigorous understanding of public policy with a grassroots approach to championing inclusive education and support services as well as other areas of policy. Their advocacy is grounded in the conviction that every child deserves tailored resources and community-driven solutions that unlock their full potential.
Over more than a decade in Software and IT, Alex has steered end-to-end delivery of complex projects across public sector bodies and private enterprises. Skilled in Agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and digital strategy, they’ve launched platforms and systems to both companies large and small. I hope to translate that into delivering real postivie change to people in Corby and beyond.
In their role as a local party executive member, Alex pushes for transparency, social justice, and evidence-based policymaking. He wishes nothing more than to create a positive plan for Corby to achieve a fair deal for all.
