A Woman of Action: Policing & Crime
Ana was a 'Bobby on the Beat' in Wellingborough back in the 80's, protecting businesses and the public, and going on to be a Senior Police Officer in Northamptonshire.
In fact, she was the first woman to supervise the Tactical Firearms Team in Northamptonshire's history.
Ana's policing expertise was sought out by the Atlanta Olympic Committee in USA, and she went on to become an International Law Enforcement Consultant.
With knowledge of our area and experience in the field, Ana knows what is needed to tackle the growing crime in Northamptonshire.
Life of Service: COVID Care
During the first COVID lockdown, Ana worked at her Mum's care home caring for the residents there.
Working on the 'High Dependency Floor', she nursed several people with COVID. On the front line of the pandemic, Ana experienced the tragic impacts of COVID first-hand - while the government were having parties in 10 Downing Street.
She still supports her mum's care home as 'bank staff', filling in whichever role is needed, as our country faces a serious shortage in the skilled workers we need.
